We are committed to helping you improve your health, by designing an individual treatment plan that best meets your needs, and by treating the underlying causes in order to obtain long lasting results.

The Wellness Centre focuses on providing a comprehensive naturopathic practice. Patients can access a variety of qualified complementary health care practioners.

Cathy Kuindersma, B.Sc., N.D.

Cathy Kuindersma

Cathy graduated from the University of Guelph in 1988 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She then went on to graduate from the four year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1993. After successfully completing her board exams, Dr. Kuindersma started her naturopathic family practice in 1994. Cathy has practiced naturopathic medicine in Georgetown for the past 15 years. As well, Cathy continues to take courses and seminars to further her education. She recently completed a two year course in “Homeopathy for the Individual Terrain” as well as a one year course in Environmental Medicine. Cathy has lived in Georgetown for the past 19 years with her husband and three children.

Genevieve Stewart, HON B.A., KIN, R.M.T., D.O.(M.P.)

Genevieve Stewart has an undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario (1997), a diploma in Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan (1999) and a diploma in Osteopathy from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (2009). Gen has been in practice since 1999 and has been focused on osteopathic work since 2005. Gen resides in Georgetown with her husband and three young children.

Sandy Charlton, B. Sc., CAT(C), Osteopathic Manual Practioner (Thesis Writer)

Sandy Charlton

Sandy Charlton completed her Bachelor of Science and Athletic Therapy at York University. She has worked with many sports teams including the Toronto Phantoms Professional Arena Football team, the Canadian National Deaf Olympic Hockey Team, Oakville Ice of the National Women’s Hockey League and the Mississauga Tomahawks of the Junior A Lacrosse League. She has completed her 5 years at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is currently working on her thesis for her Diploma in Osteopathy Manual Practice. Sandy is excited about an upcoming move to Caledon with her husband and 2 young children.

Erin Cole, R.M.T.

Erin Cole

Erin Cole completed the 2 year Massage Therapy diploma program at Kikkawa College, Toronto in 2004. Erin is registered and is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She specializes in: Trigger Point Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release. Erin has also completed the diploma Nursing program with Holland College, Prince Edward Island.

Nancy Britton, B.A.

Nancy Britton

Nancy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph in 1989. In the mid-1990’s, during a personal health crisis, Nancy sought the care of a naturopathic doctor. It was her road to health through naturopathic medicine that led her, in 1988, to start Koru, a mobile electrodermal screening service. Nancy trained in electrodermal screening with a Toronto naturopathic physician and one of the most experienced electrodermal screening (EDS) technicians in Canada. In addition, she has completed numerous training sessions provided by the software manufacturer, Biomeridian International.

Melissa Saumur, M.S.W., R.S.W.

Melissa Saumur

Melissa Saumur has completed her Masters of Social Work at Laurentian University. Melissa has 10 years experience working with women, children and their families who have been abused or who are at risk of abuse. Melissa is a Registered Social Worker and is in good Standing with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Melissa is working towards certification as a Play Therapist through the Canadian Association of Child and Play Therapy and is considered a “Certified Trauma Specialist” through the National Institute for Loss and Trauma in Children.

Candice Hamilton-Miller, M.Sc.

Candice Hamilton-Miller

Candice has Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and York University here in Canada and a Master’s Degree in Family Relations and Human Development from the University of Guelph. She has also completed various training courses in Play Therapy, Family Therapy and Sex Therapy. Candice has worked with children and families for over 14 years. Through various roles in the social service sector over the years, Candice has worked with children with special needs, including Autism and Speech and Language problems. She has also worked with families new to Canada and families dealing with Mental Health concerns including Depression, Anxiety and ADHD. As a therapist, she strongly believes that ongoing personal growth work and clinical supervision and support are beneficial for all therapists, regardless of their degree of self-awareness, skill level, or years of practice. Even although she is a skilled clinician, she maintains the practice of acquiring personal growth/ professional supervision to continue to learn and grow as a clinician. Candice is a member of the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists; the Canadian Association for Child and Play Therapy and the Ontario and American Associations for Marriage and Family Therapy.
